The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo
The Q Revo is an excellent choice if you're looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It's a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features of its more expensive counterpart.
In tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from carpets with a medium pile. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to map your home.
1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot
The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the top-rated robots. It has a lot of features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is built into the charging base. The robot also learns your cleaning habits and suggest schedules that are automatic to provide a hands-free and effortless experience.
The iRobot Home App guides you through the setup process. Once everything is connected, you can begin the automated cleaning process at the touch of a button. You can choose a general clean which focuses on the elimination of larger particles like cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is thoroughly cleaned.
This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It can take in large objects and doesn't lose suction as rapidly as some others do, and it can even clean up pet hair without difficulty. It has a difficult time with plush or high-pile carpets however, iRobot claims that future models will be more efficient.
The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that concentrates on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which will allow it to be able to swaddle furniture and walls. It's a nice improvement over the traditional hockey puck shape of most robovacs, though we found it to be incrementally better than circular models.
iRobot also claims that the S9+ comes with an improved filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating within your home. We like the claim but not enough to justify a premium price.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of sensors to remember the arrangement of your home and vSLAM for mapping the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers, and to clean up your whole home efficiently possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundaries, so it is aware of areas that need extra attention.
2. Roborock Q Revo
When it is about robots that combine vacuuming and mopping the Roborock Q Revo stands out. Its vacuum settings are as good as those on more expensive models. The mopping system is even better because its spinning pads scrub floors more effectively than an ordinary pad that vibrates.

For the mopping system, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub hard dirt off my floors. The two mopping modes that it has that are less abrasive than the high-powered ones, create very little noise, which allows you to work or even watch TV without interruption. It will gently hit furniture or walls, and move on when it encounters one.
The Q Revo is unique in that it runs almost autonomously, with little user involvement. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that automatically transfers physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and washes and dry mop pads and replenishes its clean water tank. The app is capable of nagging you only when something requires attention, such as the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session having been canceled because of a full dust bin.
You can also create or merge rooms to alter the way Q Revo treats your home. This is a great feature to have if you have several areas of your home with different flooring materials or if there's clutter that must be removed frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robot vacuum is also efficient and was one of the top performers in my tests, taking debris from both carpets and hardwoods on the first pass. It can even vacuum up wet spills but I would suggest drying them with a damp cloth prior to sending the robot in.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni
The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a premium robot vacuum and mop combo and more. It comes with the ability to rotate mops and a powerful vacuum that can clean carpets as well as hard floors. It's similar to the iRobot Roomba S9+. It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empties and washes the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them clean and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that better recognizes obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects.
The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS The X1 Deebot is the sleeker, more modern design. This is due to Danish company Jacob Jensen Design, best known for their Bang & Olufsen product line. The robot is still big. It has a height of more than two feet the height and depth and weighs almost four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo and iRobot J7.
This model is more efficient than the X1 since it charges faster and can clean 1,500 square feet in one charge. Additionally, it comes with a larger, more durable dustbin to hold more debris, making it easier to empty it when needed.
The X2 Omni also has a more natural voice assistant and an app that can be used even when you're at home. It also comes with a smart routing function that lets it clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a set path.
The X2 Omni is the most effective robot for mopping. Its mop pads rotating remove tough stains and its motor generates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming is excellent as well, and it boosts suction when it senses carpets to ensure that it does a thorough job. It has a large, rechargeable battery that can last up to one week. The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.
4. Dreametech L10s Ultra
The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot mop and vacuum is a top-quality model that offers a number of features that aren't typically found on robots of this price. It can create detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. But while these functions are nice to have however, they also push the L10s Ultra into the category of luxury which could make it somewhat more expensive than some homeowners need.
It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device with an elegant white finish that's accented by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects furniture and the vacuum from damage when moving through the home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles.
On the top of the screen, you'll find a single button that essentially is a switch for on and off. Clicking this will turn on the vacuum, and pressing it again will shut off the vacuum and return it to its base station. The central control panel is a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, more info and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can customize how the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.
The L10s Ultra, like the iRobot Roomba S9+ or Roborock Q Revo uses a combination of cameras and LIDAR technology to map out your home. This helps the robot clean and mop efficiently, without getting stuck. The LIDAR also helps the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with children or pets.
The L10s Ultra is an extremely powerful vacuum cleaner, removing 98.4 percent of debris from our test on hardwood floors and removing all but stubborn juice staining. Its mops also perform well in removing 98.4% debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as effective in removing sand from the hard floor and quaker oats on the carpet.
